Training lets you strengthen your Japanese conversation skills by interacting with AI.
Choose between Homework Mode and Free Talk Mode to practice anything from everyday scenarios to free-form dialogue.
Homework Mode 📚
Practice conversations using the level (Beginner / Intermediate / Advanced) and five real-life scenarios agreed upon with your Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP).
The upcoming GA release will offer 15 sessions in total, but some sessions may be unavailable in the current beta.
How to Use

Tap “Homework Mode”
Select Homework Mode from the Training screen. -
Choose a Level and Scenario
Example: Beginner × Self-Introduction. -
Tap “Start”
The speech-recognition session begins. -
Answer the Questions Out Loud
- Use the mic button to start/stop recording.

Receive AI Feedback
- Clarity, Fluency, Variety, Grammar & Structure, Context Understanding — each scored on a 5-point scale.
- Scores are shown on a radar chart with specific improvement tips.

Frequently used sessions can be added to My List by tapping the star icon.
Free Talk Mode 🗣️
Have a free-form conversation on any topic to build practical communication skills.
How to Use
- Tap “Free Talk”
- Tap “Start Talking with AI”
- Speak freely
- Tap the microphone button to begin conversation
- AI will respond to your speech
- Continue the conversation
Tap the microphone as many times as you like to keep talking! - End & Evaluate
Tap “End” to receive scores on fluency, vocabulary, and more.
Viewing Your Results 📈

Review each practice session and focus on areas where you scored lower.
